Eddie Does Japan

Summer is just around the corner and the temperature on the island is heating up. Unfortunately, the Pacific Ocean still has yet to produce any significant and lasting typhoon swells, so surfing has been a hit or miss proposition. On Sunday, faced with another waveless day, some friends and I headed down to Narai, a local surf villa, for some skateboarding. We rode carving boards, which are easier to turn than a regular skateboard and produce an experience that mildly resembles surfing. Below is a picture of me ripping up the asphalt.
